hi guys i have diagnosed that my fuel pump ant working and directed it back to the relay do you guys no the two wires to bridge accross to activate fuel pump so i can get me car going and do you guys no how much these are i was told that they are exspensive (relay).

i think the 3i relay is the same can grab one from the scrappy that wil cost pennies if im right that is

went and grabed a relay Ł20 brand new it works so wernt so bade no second hand ones so went for it just in proses off getting it running properly now nice

 

The solder joints are prone to break down on the purple relays.

They are poo! A new one was a wise move, a second hand one will probably be just as bad as your old one

remeber my relay went.....water from the fuse box acted as a bridge and shorted it, ran the pump all night then i couldnt start my old S2 in the morning.
i was working so could get to the car (night shift).

safechav told me how to bridge the relay to get it going, finally brought a new relay and i was away!!!

never thanked safechav for that advice.....cheers mate!!!!
