just been emailed this, i've had an email like this before a month or 2 ago but just deleted it

but this time i have checked out where the email came from and it is an online jewelry store

the email came from billing@jewelryadviser.com

so guessing there site is www.jewelryadviser.com which seems to be a propa site



Dear Customer,

We are unable to obtain payment from the credit card on file for your Jewelry Adviser account. Your credit card company returned the following error to us:

The Overdraft Exceed

Please contact your credit card company to resolve this matter, or log into your account now to change your credit card information.
(See your account details as well as the transaction details in the attachment)

TBH honest i dont even know what credit cards i have

so unorganised, think i may have 3 running but dsont used them anymore n have the bills coming out direct debit

will have to look into it when i get home!

Sounds like it was written by a foreigner to me.

Probably a scam, if you havent ordered anything just ignore it, if it appears on your statement THEN inform your card company its not you.

This is well known scam, do not reply or click on the link. They are just after your credit card details.

Just had the same email come through on Yahoo. Its a scam.

i got 2 of them tonight, i dont even have a credit card

so much for spam emails becoming a thing of the past

your credit card issuer will never issue a reason of "overdraft exceeded"

if the card don't authorise, it wont tell them why (unless its something well simple and not embarrasing)



for that reason i'd deffo say SCAM

Scam.

Credit cards have credit limits, not overdrafts. and in any case it would be exceeded as said above, if anything.

Oh, and I had one today too

just cheacked my spam folder in my emails and guess what there is one in the for me

so just delete funny thing i got my c.c statement today and i.m not overdrawn

bloody scammers thoe try anything to have people over
