I dont think you will be able to get it on a car thats 16+ years old, a loan would be the better opition as your not tied to the car with a loan and you could sell it whenever you wanted.

you may be lucky and find a good second hand one for a ton!! but you wont be able to get finance on it
get a bank loan then buy a new one!!
