95% of laptops have tv out
just get latest drivers from the manufacturers website
put in video cable
and press the required keys (fn & f8 on mine)
better than arsing around with converting to vcd
divx on tv - much better quality anyway

yes mate, that sounds like svideo output
that will carry just video signal though, you will need a 3.5mm jack to 2 phono connectors to plug into tv
see if ur tv has svideo connection else u can get svideo > scart
i'll let someone else sort ya drivers for ya, if its a vaio go to www.vaio-link.com otherwise try www.google.co.uk

What speed are you trying to write the V-CDs at?
The slower you do it the better the results usually.
Also - what software are you using to carry out the file conversion?
This site has a very good guide on what software you need and how to use it to create V-CD's, I've never experienced any problems like you've experienced by following this guide...

Hope that helps,

Do a google search for the manufacturer of the drive and see if you can download the specific driver for your cd burner, they normally have the latest versions of drivers available on their company websites.
