Not boosting Properly and Stutter.
Just had head skimmed and put new head gasket on. Car now does not boost over 15psi and has a bit of a stutter higher in the revs.
Before I did the head it was boosting fine up to 29psi with no stutter. I have not changed anything else since this.
All usual bits were changed before head was done (leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm plugs gapped to 0.65mm etc).
Could it be a punctured boost/vaccuum hose? No noticable hissing.
At a bit of a loss on this one....
Pete.

Just had a small amount taken off the head, but it has had a hard life before me. Not measured it but has had a lot skimmed off, machinist bloke mentioned this also. Compression ok.
Have since changed vacuum hoses, still no change.
Turbo/manifold all bolted up ok but noticed quite a few, large, hairline cracks in the exhaust manifold. Could this be the problem? No stutter when not on boost.
Will the boosting problem and stutter be seperate?
HELP!
