Default dump valves

why cant group A dumpvalves go on rs turbo's
with metering units...
dont they work the same as normal dump valves???

Some dump valves are diaphram based and the vacumn on the induction system stops them from closing completely because of this you always have an air leak and the car idles badly

The diapragm ones are no good for the reason above. The bailey type use stroing springs which close off totally and eradicate any idle problems.

As said, the diaphram ones open at a lower vacuum pressure and make an air leak which you can't have on an air flow dependant fuelling system.

Even Piston type ones have their effects on MFI although its not always that obvious what its doing to the car!

Spend the money on something usefull, why do you want to fit something that does nothing but make your car sound like a bus

took mine off fed up with the noise ,its something to do with the vacuum
escort ones work on escorts and fiestas,but fiesta ones wont work properly on escorts( baily ones )
