Default Comma engine flushing oil

Is this ok to use in a cossie?!?!

was told by a mate there was a post ages ago saying NOT to use the engine flush's u get in the small tins as they can damage the turbo bearing or something as they contain thinner type stuff?!

But comma do 1 that u drain the oil out, then fill it to half the capacity with the flushing oil run it then drain it out and replace the oil.

Wanted 2 check first to be safe and fook anything

why would you wanna?

in my experience it makes cars smoke as it removes any gunk and crap that WAS working as a seal somewhere

if your engines bad enough to need it, its so bad the stuff usually makes it seem worse

The idea is that you dont drive with engine flush in.

I dont see that it would do any damage at idle.

Personally I wouldnt bother unless you have contamination problems.

i sell the stuff and dont suggest any turbo'd car has it.if you want to flush it empty your oil out and put a cheapish normal oil in drive it for a little while then dump it again and put the good stuff in.

5w30 is a bit thin for them once they start to wear IMHO

3000 is a good milage to change on though, plus after every trackday etc if thats your thing.

Reason i asked is it looks like the engine i bought off some1 has a fooked HG as the oils gone all nice and baileys looking flushed it out with cheap oil twice and put some more cheap oil in just to run it and it was still slightly coloured, so wanted 2 run some flush thru it to clean it before i change the HG and put fresh oil in again.

Wouldnt normally bother using it would just change the oil every 3k odd miles as it usually comes out clean

Althou knowing my luck the fucked oil has prob done the shells, havn't driven it but the car was started and moved about.............
