Right I been trying to shrink a pic of my cossie for about 1/2 hour now and cant get it into 105x 105 and 5kb. How the heell dya do it

 

you mean an avatar? well use photoshop to resize it, or host it on some webspace, post it on here and some nice person will do it for you

 

you can use pixresixer if you down load it .

email me the pic mate woodzrs@yahoo.co.uk and i will try 4 you or stick the pic up on here

 

Post up the pic as it is (in the photoshop section) and someone will help

They're both a jpg. Have you saved it correctly? ie .jpg

 

Is it a signature pic you need (below all your posts) or an avatar pic (below your name) ?

 

only lets me save it as art or bmp?

my pc does this sometimes . you either have to many pics or click TOOLS then INTERNET SETTINGS then SETTINGS in the temp files bit in general then click VIEW OBJECTS . then under status see that everything is installed . if something isnt i usually delete it . then reset the pc and try again . dont know if this is right but it works for me

 

There's your problem. Try adding .jpg to the end of the name when you save it or edit the filename to.jpg after it's saved as a bmp.

 

To add the small one above as an avatar (under your name)

Click on 'profile' at the top

Scroll to bottom of page and copy this text into the 'upload Avatar from a URL' box

That will be a start
