guys check this out for me,ive owned a lot of mk3 escorts and half a dozen series ones,but never seen a c plate with the very early strut tops?? dont look like a proper series one shell to me its got the 2 bolt type turrets???

It cant be with two bolt turrets. These were stopped in 83. So prob been rung onto an old shell.

 

My old A plate Escort didn't have that type of strut top it had the more comon type as found in the later S2.
