86 xr4x4 speedo wanted

86 xr4x4 speedo wanted
can anyone help me please
my revcounter on my 86 xr4x4 reads half revs,at 2000 it reads 1000,etc
bought a speedo of ebay and the seller says it came of a v6 car.
the wiring plug on it is behind the top of the revcounter ,mine is in the middle with a little raised section in the middle of the plug,mine also has 84 stamped on the binnicle.was there a change over year?
has anyone got 1?
psoting to crewe would be a bonus,cash waiting
