I still personally find the K&N best for build quality and longevity, and have never heard of the mesh rotting and going in the turbo as pipercross have been known to do in the past.

Heres a piccy of mine if it helps at all?

And TiB's

Good grief Stu, how did you manage to get a picture of Lee's engine bay with it being relatively clean? Did he leave it with you & you cleaned it yourself & took the picture or something?

You slagging my Blue caravan as well now Dave?

Hoses are there for function... i change em all as soon as i get a vehicle i plan to keep.... 10 - 17 yr old hoses in a hot engine bay are bad news IMO

Ian,
Dont recall that engine EVER being cleaned... must be a camera trick

RSrussell,
also i recon you should get a one piece for the breather
That connecting hose again, was functional to bin the wanky 10yr old festering pile of crap that was there to start with..... that std breather wont be there long

It looked like this the day i got it... (The day before i think )

You can clearly see all those disasterous hoses just waiting to split when im 300miles from home and its fookin down with rain.....
