Default Starting car after 3 months

I am starting my car on Sat and it hasnt moved from its carcoon since I got back from Ford Fair, are their any checks to do to be on the safe side.

Disconnect fuel injectors and crank over for 30s first, to build up oil pressure. Reconnect injectors and fire up. The top end will likely sound noisey for a few minutes, as all the oil will have drained out of lifters etc.

As mike said and maybe worth a check on the oil and water level aswell

hi, after a bit of a lay- up drop some oil in the rocker cover prior to starting up
((gives the top end a lube on initial start )think new cams!! those few moment make all the difference when bringing oil up from the sump!!!!!!!!!!!-guru7001/2

sure ive read somewhere that yb heads have a non oil return valve in the head to prevent dry running from cold?
