(please to not turn this into a debate on the value of the car, thank you)


as above,

im doing the agreed value on my car & i have sorted all the receipts/build costs that i have, everything apart from cash payments/deals

now this is easily above what i want to insure the car for.......10k


but on the form it also has a section to be filled out by the following to say that they agree the cars current MARKET VALUE? now i know as well as anybody that not many people (if any?) would pay 10k for a mk2 fiesta


but i would not build it again for that money either so i think its about right to insure it at that,

so who do i take it to that can agree this figure? the options it says are

CAR CLUB OFFICIAL
RESTORER
VALUER
SPECIALIST DEALER
OTHER (please specify)

who would be best take it to you think?

I'm guessing it would be Car Club Official as they're more likely to see it from your point of view.

Restorer and Valuer are more likely to go by the actual market value of the car without mods, etc. etc.

Specialist dealer are probably more for your imports and super cars

 

was thinking of trying WWW.DAYSOFGRACE.NET

as they seem to specialise in rs's and xr's as wel as expensive supercars so they may see how extensively modified & custom this car is & may give some help

plus there local too
