He never answers when I call! But he always returns the call when I leave a message. If you're flexible on dates, he sometimes uses the trip to do a different job in the other direction and save you some Ł...

 

thats a round trip of 450 odd miles, will cost you a fair old amount m8 prob about 300 quid plus.

I trailered my Pulsar from Kent to Norwich on the back of my dad's Espace

You're right, it was almost a complete disaster.....

The trailer we hired turned out to have seized brakes which we didn't notice until a tyre blew 20 miles down the road We left that one by the side of the road and had to pay a fortune from another local company to hire one of theirs

I have an A4 sheet here with the highest price being around Ł250. I am hoping to get it done sub Ł200 and would rather give the job to someone who I know or know of than just a random company I find on Google! Almost everyone that has quoted has given me either a fixed price or a mileage price for the one-way leg of the journey, at up to but no more than Ł1.20 per mile (200-220 miles total).

I recently used Tom of TCS in Bishop Stortford - and can recommend him.

 

That sounds like a pretty fair price to me. Main advantage of the guy I use is his 'super low' trailer which can take our Skyline without problems.
