ok im trying to loose the,,, well the general image the management have of me at work and thats a stella drinking chav,,,, so i decided to learn to drink wine,,,,,,, ITS FOOKING NASTY STUFF,,,,, HOW CAN ANYONE LIKE IT I DONT KNOW !


anyway i dont mind the taste of bollinger so im looking for a wine with a similer taste to that,,,,, not a taste of thinners which is what my missus seems to drink


so what good options are there, i know a few of you lot do drink white wine and so whats a prefered wine that people drink ?


stella tasting wine would be SUCH a good idea,,,, but then aint gonna happen

Ernest and Julio Gallo:- Sierra Valley White Grenache is very nice, it's a blush wine so it's 'pink'

If you don't like this one - give up!!

white wine and lemonade.half and half in a pint glass.

 

verdiccio is very nice .. quite dry but very potent

 

dont like lambrini,,,,, ive got fucking loads of that in here at the moment

the missus drinks it with her sister/mates before a night on the piss and cause its a screw top ( sorry but screw top wine ) its back in the fridge and she will drink it when doing her paperwork ect

just when i go to these works things everyone makes fun of my pints and i dont look like a typical office worker and get refered to has the pikey chav

so a nice white wine that tastes like erm,,,,, well ive tried a dry wine and that tastes,,,,,, FOOKING SHARP

Stellas fecking horrible and I've no idea why I drink it as I talk bollocks at the best of times

I quite like Rose Pinot Grigio, Asti Spumante but cant get my head round red wine as it sends me totally loopy and it doesn't seem right drinking it warm

nope i actually like drinking it,,,, honestly the 7 pubs i drink in round my work all serve a nice pint of stella ( dont get me wrong theres a few rancid stellas sold when the pipes aint clean)


just its not a drink to have when going out for a meal when something new is launched paied for by the company,,,,, you know what i mean you are at a table at the raddison/ ect and everyone is eating there mean with wine and my glass is still up turned and i have to travel to the bar to get a pint of stella with my meal,,,, not like anyone has mentioned it but they do make comments when drunk about me being,,,, well me ha ha ha


so no i dont think drinking stella is cool

Yup you do think its cool, and Ginge i kinda think its sad when your consious of what you drink I drink most things, from Pints, bottles, spirits, wines etc.

And tbh i could care etc, all goes down to envrionment and whats on offer mainly

 

mate ifn there worse than what i had on thursday when we found out there closing our dealership and we was in the pub from 5 to,,,, well the missus said i was home at 330,,,,, i dont remember that though as i was very very pissed to say the least


anyway at 1ish on friday afternoon i felt like SHITE and had to leave work at 4 cause the day was just taking TOO FUCKING LONG to end


if thats the case then i deffo aint drinking that stuff

I dont drink wine, after a bad experience on the Red Stuff at 13

 

Another good reason not to start drinking it My hangovers seem to last forever

i like straight vodka from the freezer over 2 cubes of ice,,,,,, but CHRIST ordering a straight vodka in a hotel is worse than ordering a bottle of reef on a stag weekend

missus wont allow me to drink it as my old locak used to have it on tap and i also used to buy a crate a week of the stuff ( there only little bottles )

Mrs drinks rose wine all the time but i prefer white. Nothing too dry though.

As said above though, who cares what others think!

 

Last year when I was walking round the good food show, I looked round the wine section as I wanted to get a decent bottle of white.

I looked at the one that won the #1 award and decided on a bottle.

Unsurprisingly they had sold out their whole stock within a few hours, so thought next time I was in supermarket I'd grab a bottle.

It was this bottle

Between 5-10 quid a bottle, but its fuckin lush

Got higher ratings than bottles that cost 5-6 times the price.
