Default eccentic top mounts?

when i bought my rs200 replica it came with a few box`s of bits,in 1 of the box`s was a set of gravel spec top mounts.

my question is
do these only fit coil-overs or can you use them on a standard strut?
what are the advantages on a weekend warrior car?

i only have the mounting points for the eccentic mounts not the ford 1 hole dome as per sierra.
it`s based on a 4x4 if this helps
thanks
dave

Eccentric mounts are for coilovers and usually feature adjustable caster and camber and concentric mounts are for normal dampers.

I have a set of concentric mounts on spax dampers on my 2.0 Zetec Escort, give a slightly harsher ride but better steering response and sharper turn in.
