Theres ALOT of people that leave there car ticking over for a few secs/mins or use there turbo timers is this a must do thing?

No need to leave it run for minutes unless you've been driving it like a race car then i leave if for a few minutes to cool down

i leave mine to idle if ive been driving it hard let the fan kick in & out before turning it off, but if i anit got time to sit around ill drive off boost last mile or so.

youd pick up a cheap turbo timer for 50 quid its not a big price to pay to preserve the life of your turbo

Dont forget though turbo timers arent very friendly with category 1 alarms and you cant alarm your car until its turned off, so in most cases its a waste as u have to wait, so u may aswell just turn it off by hand!

Have a turbo timer but dont use the thing Everytime the car just gets turnt off with the key after every use.

My Cat 1 alarm has a turbo timer feature which allows u to arm while the car is still running

Thats an ALARM, not a TURBO TIMER

But..........that is the way to do it

As soon as i fitted my turbo timer i realised what a useless piece of poo it was, they have some handy features though but they dont make up for the inconvenience they cause.

I may use an output on my alarm and sell the turbo timer......
