Ok so im trying to make sense of these tranny terms.

Say you have a drop off 5.1 rear and 3.62 front on a 4x4 transmission.

Is that to say that you need a 5.1 cwp on the back and 3.62 on the front?
if so... how do you then calculate the speed? what is the final drive ratio?
5.1 or 3.62?

 

yes correct 5.1 rear 3.62 front, You will calculate as the rear 5.1, front is geared with the dropoff to 5.1 even if the cwp is 3.62
