breather problem

Default breather problem

i was wondering if anyone can help with a simple breathing problem. Both me and my mate have similar specked escort turbos running around 190 bhp but his stales when you take the oil filler cap of but mine doesn't and was wondering which one is correct and what the causes of the bad'n are

if its on K Jet its meant to turn off...if on EFI then it will stay on

depends if the breahter is moddified. If it's not, then u could have a blockage.

try taking the dip stick out on your car. rather the oil cap.

The one that 'Runs' may be set-up to do so [basically the return hose for the breather to the metering unit is blocked off and the idle mixture adjusted to suit]. In which case it won't be doing any damage and is a better breather system.

This is how I ran my RST's and collected the oil/fumes in a catch tank rather than returning them to the engine.
