no. cossie uses a 7.5 inch diff, normal sierra's use a 7". mounting plates on the beam will be too close.

you can put a 7" diff in a 7.5" beam with spacers, but not the other way around.

hint: rear beam and diff were carry over parts from granada

Sierra 2.0 glsi's between 90 and 91 had a 7.5inch rear diff and the beam is identical. As far as i know only the glsi's of this age tho, these cars had no abs but rear discs and 2 tone bodywork!

Hope this helps

depending on where you are, i've got a granada 24V rear beam and trailing arms waiting to go to the tip
if you want them they are yours for however much it costs you coming and getting them

i'm in west london btw

You can tell what diff it has by the vin no. but apart from that, and what ive said above, no! unless you get out a ruler and measure it!

Im sure dojj knows how to tell from the vin no, i cant remember off hand. There is a program somewhere that you can type in the vin no. and it tell you every detail of the car as it left the factory.

Yup! thats the best way!

Dont even bother getting under the car unless it has the dohc 8v 2.0 tho, as these are the only sierra's with a chance of having the correct beam!!

no worries

most, but not all, dohc sierra's from 90 - 92 have a 7.5 inch rear diff
you will have to swap over your exhaust hanger bracket though from the passenger side rear because they don't have them (should be able to unbolt it and refit)

the measurements you want are to be fond on the top of the diff though, so unles you can reach it's going ot be difficult as the bottoms are the same size

if you do find a beam out the measurement at the top of the diff is 193mm of something, the smaller ones are 177 i think (this is from memory as i can't rememebr where i wrote them down)
