can anyone tell me what the excact name of the black is that ford used on the s2 rs turbo please or any ideas

When I got the paint mixed for mine they basically got the black out and poured it in a tin and said "here you are mate" No other colours were mixed at all.

 

Known as BMW Black basically, its black and nothing else.

 

its not straight black! nowhere near! has a lot of tints.

It's called factory black i think

 

Ford Black = A9

 

Have been told mine is the flat black if that makes a difference

 

i may be very wrong here, but was it ford that used the name diamond for black aswell as white one. makinfg it diamond black.

dont sound right to me i must admit but i for some reason had an urge to say so lol

some1 must have a rs turbo brochure so they can check for u

has anyone got an origional black rs turbo with it writen on the slam panel

 

my black rs turbo said SCHWARTZ (black) on the colour tag
when i got a ford touch up said the same.
at a motor factors it was called Ford factory black
and there were loads of shades
