Where can i get a custom plenum made?
Trending Topics
can buy a carbon MIS manifold for about 4/5 grand
my question is still,,, why custom? the only people i would choose to make me a custom inlet would be KARL norris os NMS,,,,
what BHP you looking for? wont a standard/rs500/swedish style fit?

its for a zetec turbo with cgi block steel bottom end st170 head. going to be running twin 50mm jenvey throttle bodies and after a plenum to go with them. it needs a 3" inlet because im using a rs500 intercooler.

Modifying a pulsar one or similar.
Its designed better for flow and distribution than anything NMS or AVA or anyone else "back street garage" is going to come up with realistically as its had millions of pounds of development thrown at it.
Any of the companies listed above can only realistically do a "thats about right" kind of design.
Thats NOT having a go at them, clever blokes, just dont have the resources of someone like nissan in the first place.
Also a pular one is 50 quid secondhand!

karl is one of the very few engineers who i know could do it right, theres so many inlets out there with design floors
you can point that out as much as you like,,,

Thats certainly true in some cases, depends on what you do though.
To use a pulsar one, i would use the complete plenum and runners and just make an adaptor to go between the head and the runners, that way you have touch the "expensive bits" at all.
