Default Convert 4 to 2 wheel drive sierra cossi.

I just want to temperally convert my 4x4 cossi to 2 wheel drive for a bit of fun and then put back to 4x4. If i just disconect the front prop shaft and plug the hole from the gearbox out put, would this be acceptable ? Has any one tried this.

No - you'd fuck the transfer box up

You'd still fuck your transfer box up as you are doing exactly the same as removing the front propshaft - removing the loading off the the front drive train alowing the diff to spin at unequal speeds from front to rear.

Default 4x4 to 2wd

you need to change the gearbox for a borgwarner t5 from 2wd with the mount and propshaft and remove the front drive shafts. leave the cv joints bolted in though or the wheel bearings will colapse! or just buy a 2wd cos
