Been to a trackday at elvington, not good results.
My mate started on his own with a pug 205 GTi a while ago, after winning a good few races they got a little team together, today i went to elvington to watch them race and have a few passenger rides
Car number 702 is has a 1.6GTi engine.
The other red pug has a 1.9 Mi16 lump
ant they also have an XR2

The Mi16 had split a pipe

Then disaster struck, coming out of the corner car 702 lost the back end and the front wheels dug in
it went on its side left the floor and landed back on its other side, thank god it had a roll cage.

And we werent the only casualtys, this is a 35,000 mile 1 owner escort and it was mint.

atleast everone walked away

Never nice to see Andy.
The second pic (or first accident) looks VERY similar to a shunt I had with my pug
Few balls of scrap brought back from Epynt today too - but most were trying hard as usual.
Here's Guy Woodcock in the kit car Escort saving his tyres

Thanks to Gary for that pic
