Hi All,
Just need some help...I bought my gorgeous second hand black Puma back in Feb this year (06) and was delighted with it, until a month ago went it badly failed it's MOT! Just had to pay well over £600 on repairs, why? Because one shock absorber was leaking, bushes were worn, and it needed two new front tyres, which are 17" low profiles! (Anyone wanting to put 17" on one of these bad boys, word of advice DON'T! You feel every bump in the road and it completely wrecks the handling, it's alot better with the standard wheels! So i've been told!)
ANYWAY......after parting with my hard earnt cash wit the MOT & Service I get it home to rest!
A week later I then have ANOTHER problem the door light which indicates if your door, boot or bonnet is open is permantely on!!!!
Can somebody tell me why!?
I bought this car being so proud of it, now all I want to do with it is drive it off a cliff!!!

 

check the boot adjar switch its located on the latch!! these break very easy!!! if not pm me!!

Brilliant thanks, I tried last night and the switched stayed down, so I couldn't close the boot, managed to get it undone again and closed (boy did I panic there for a bit!). Funny enough it was when I opened the boot that the light came on!
Taking it to a Ford dealer near me and see what they say.
Will let you know. Thz for your advice!
