i was in the pub lastnight and got talking to this matey who swares by the fact that there is only 237 s1 left on the road. surely there must be more than that. how many were made

 

i think theres only 200 & odd rs1600i's left on the road but im sure theres more s1's than that

 

something like 8067 made from jan 85 to jan 86

check the thread about it entitled series 1 database!!!

 

There were 46 S1 left on Germany's roads, including these who were less than 18 months off the road. And 315 S2

 

Here's approx 300 that the RSOC members came up with that were definately around at the time of posting (started March '05)

XR2 How do you know the info on German cars?? Is that 41 cars now?

 

You can ask that on the "Verkehrszentralregister" some kind of central register for public roads. If you know the exact "manufacturer number" and "key number" of the certain car they tell you the number of cars on the road @ 1st of January
