my mk6 Escort van transformation!
Bought this in jan, as a work run around! gave £150 for it with a siezed engine!
basically, had hole in sump, of which i repaired with chemical metal ( and 11 months later is still leak free!!) and put oil down the bores, and towed (well dragged) round the block with my Range Rover... and not even qtr of the way down, is un siezed and ran like a dream!!
heres the pics:
basically i decieded that i wanted it to be a bit better looking, and wanted some mod cons!
so i bought this for £150
totally fooked but yelded electric windows, central locking and carpet etc, and i sold everything else off and that released some more funds!
anyway, i realised the body work was fucked( no shit ey!) so i had already stock piled a pr or front doors, and a bonnet a fogged bumper.
so here goes with the body work...
delocking...
the bonnet and doors..
decided that i wanted it auralis blue...
sorry they aint in no particular order...
then.... i got a bit bored of auralis... and went for......
yup ST electric orange...
anyway more body work..
in the meantime... been buying a few bits....
o and the paint...
in the paint shop!
blacked grill;
side skirts being altered...
thats not all, as the asmatic 1800 engine is making way for a 110bhp TD engine ... so its a bit nippier!
