buying a racing puma
Good things:
Great Handling and Brakes
Excellent Interior
Rare
Probably one of the best looking/handling cars that Ford has ever produced IMO
Bad:
Rather stiff suspension (so its not a v.good everyday car)
Price on parts (£110 for front brake pads now, and £210 for 1 front disc)
Brakes need a service every year (to clean out the pistons etc...)
Things to look out for:
RUST (Check the weld that joins the rear 1/4 to the sill, A pillars, Door shuts)
Check for when the brakes were last serviced (they are the most expensive thing to fix if they go wrong and need a re-build)
Check interior for rips etc...
Also the FRP gets stone chips really easy so check front bumper, wings, bonnet, and rear arches
Hope this helps
