Why not give one of the many tuners a ring, if your seriously after a big spec engine then they can give you what your after and a price

Plus 50bhp less than your previous post isnt really going to make much difference...............................is it

450bhp is going to be £10k + VAT OUTRIGHT (dynoed, but not installed). Using your block, rods, crank etc, will reduce the price, but your engine needs to be stripped and assessed to see what CAN be used.... Could go as low as £7.5 - 8k + VAT installed, depending on spec and what is required over and above your own engine.

maybe he plans on putting the engine together himself, not ever one needs or has money to pay someone to do everything for them

Won't just be the engine you'll have to spend money on for 450 brake though - brakes / suspension / gearbox / diffs will need sorting too.

I fail to see why asking how to remove the heat shield is not a sensible question? And i havent seen a post asking how to jack a cossie up

He was simply referring back to this post

as said 8k to 10K for engine
other engine bits like upratted rad, intercooler, tanks, ect £1k
front diff and rear diff ? about 3k
clutch and gear box start from about 3k
brakes and shocks from 2k

so to do it right about 20 k for a standard car as a base

can be built a lot cheaper if your williing to do it yourself,

i have replaced head gasket and cams eals in my own car,
all done by myself and friends (mostly daz c)

now, i have simpply save d myself best part of probably 400 quid by doing that,

if i was to want more power now, i would simplly strip the engine myself

get the bottom end proff rebuilt annd thats it, a few of my mates are all DIY enginie builders, so now probs there,

which inc the fastest RWD cossie in UK (road legal)

Some people are going to rip into you for that comment Andy.

What you mean is the fastest 1/4 mile RWD 3 door.
