hi as above i will be fitting some 18's on my escort rs turbo over winter as i am doing it over winter (pics coming soon) i was just wondering if i will need coilovers or will my spaxs kit that i have on at the minute be ok just asking so i can get ahead of my safe by ordering so that i have them for when i need them. i forgot to say that the wheels i am getting are 8inch wide and will have 215/35/18 tyre's.

I no every one has said do not put 18's on an rs turbo but the for show not every day use i will be getting some 16's for every day use's if i bring my safe to use it every day when i have painted it all and put all the bling bits on

I ran 7.5x18" on my old ERST. Just Koni dampers and springs.

It was okay on 18's, not the best but not exactly as crap as folk say

is any arch work needed? and how much is it safe to lower it by?

 

do not now mate late you know when the wheels show up as mine is lowered 25mm at the minute

 

i had 18s on my old series two & it didnt drive that bad either i would recomend it asweel cos they do look qite nice
