NOW SOLD

Minimum 18" wheel diameter required.

The bells included suit Ford Escort & Sapphire 4x4 Cosworths, Mitsubishi Evo 7 & 8 and most other cars with a bell offset of +9.5mm to -11mm (possibly Focus RS too).
2WD Cosworths require different bells (with a larger offset).
Hydraulic or additional mechanical handbrake required (not supplied).

A rare opportunity to buy a matching front and rear set of the ultimate super-touring car calipers with 4x 356mm floating discs. The front 6 pot calipers are ultralight and stiff Monobloc Metal Matrix Composite bodies with Air Gap Titanium pistons. The 6 pad design gives increased bite. The rear (smaller piston area) 4 pot calipers are also lightweight but with the ability to run liquid cooling. 4x Interchangeable Aerospace Grade Aluminium bells are also included with 6 sets of high friction pads.



2x 6piston (Titanium) / 6pad AP Racing calipers.

Free machining of bell pcd & bore.

Calipers can be supplied as leading or trailing or with the fluid cross over tubes and bleed nipples loose/un-sealed. A tube of hydraulic sealant and an 11mm flared nut ring spanner are supplied.



AP Racing 6pot calipers.
CP5266-2,3 (Trailing) or 4,5 (Leading).
Monobloc Metal Matrix Composite bodies.
6x Individual pad design for increased bite & enlarged pad area.
6x Titanium Nitride coated Titanium Air Gap (ventilated) pistons, 35.05mm diameter.
Offset piston design to control pad taper. Total piston area = 57.40cm2.
Radial mounted, 210.0mm centres with 42.0mm offset.
Fully refurbished, re-coated pistons, re-coated hard anodised bodies, new piston seals, new fasteners, new bleed nipples, new fluid cross-over tubes.
In virtually as-new condition.



AP Racing 4pot calipers.
CP4296-2,3 (Trailing) or 4,5 (Leading).
Aluminium bodies with Hard Anodised Aluminium pistons, 25.40 & 31.75mm.
Differential piston bore design to contol pad taper. Total piston area = 26.40cm2.
Radial mounted, 130.0mm centres with 29.0mm offset.
Internal liquid cooling galleries to run a closed system (not included).

Fully refurbished, re-coated hard anodised bodies, new piston seals, new fasteners, new bleed nipples, new fluid cross-over tubes.
The pistons have no visible wear although their pad abutment face has some chips of the anodised coating which will not affect their performance in any way.
In virtually as-new condition.

AP Racing discs (rotors):
356mm diameter by 32mm wide (exact widths as below).
48 spiral vanes, grooved faces and floating.
12 x 240.0mm PCD mounting.
2x left hand CP3581-1043G8
2x right hand CP3581-1042G8
Powder blasted & skimmed (machined flat) with the following widths and condition.
No.1 Right Disc 31.53mm, very light surface crazing on inboard & outboard faces.
No.2 Left Disc 31.40mm, very light surface crazing on inboard & outboard faces.
No.3 Right Disc 31.40mm light surface crazing in middle of inboard & outboard faces.
No.4 Left Disc 31.14mm light surface crazing in middle of inboard & outboard faces.
Minimum thickness 30.0mm.

Brake Pads:
1x Brand New set of Mintex F2 front pads (12)
1x bedded-in set of Performance Friction PFC93 front pads (12)
2x Brand New sets of Mintex F2 rear pads (8)
2x Brand New sets of Performance Friction PFC83 rear pads (8)

Brake Disc Mounting Bells (hats):
Aluminium (aerospace grade) bells, refurbished with all major surfaces and diameters re-machined, no distortion present, hard anodised black.
There is some minor pitting present but hardly noticeable being all black, otherwise they are in virtually as-new condition.
The brand new removable centre piece is 6082T6 (H30) aluminium hard anodised black, this can be supplied plain (un-drilled) as shown with a bore diameter of 60.0mm’s or machined FREE to suit your car (size limits below).

I can machine the bells FREE OF CHARGE with holes to suit wheel pcd’s of 100 to 120mm’s, 3, 4, 5 & 6 bolt hole patterns and spigot bore diameters of 60 to 80mm’s.
The bells suit cars like Ford Escort & Sapphire 4x4 Cosworths, Mitsubishi Evo 7 & 8 and most other cars with a bell offset of +9.5mm to -11mm.
The front bobbins and bell centre pieces can be mounted differently to give the following bell offsets (hub mounting face to disc mounting face):
-10.95, -9.95 ,-8.45, -7.2, -6.2 & -4.7mm's, negative meaning the disc would be mounted further outboard (nearer wheel spokes).
+3.25, +4.25, +5.75, +7, +8 & +9.5, positive meaning disc is further inboard (towards centre of car) than hub face.
The rear bobbins and bell centre pieces can be mounted differently to give bell offsets from +9mm to -7.2mm.
The cars hub mounting face Outside Diameter must be less than 142mm's with the above positive offsets.

AP Racing Bobbins:
48x Brand New floating bobbins, CP2494-592MC. Nominal float of 0.3mm’s.
AP bobbins retail for £124.64 for 2 sets (£2.21+VAT each)!!!

Disc Mounting Fasteners:
Comprises ¼” UNF x 1” long VERY HIGH TENSILE (GRADE 12,9) socket head bolt, ¼” UNF ALL METAL self locking lock nut, ¼” and 6mm grade A4 stainless steel washers, all Brand New.

Additional Parts & Tools.
1x Brand New AP Racing hydraulic handbrake master cylinder, CP2293-190PRT110.
1x 35mm piston removal tool (to suit the 6pot calipers).
1x 11mm flared ring nut spanner.
1x Loctite 542 Hydraulic Thread Sealant, 10ml.
4x AP Racing Aluminium badges (1 fits each rear caliper).
12x anti knock back springs (to suit the 6pot calipers).
8x anti knock back springs (to suit the 4pot calipers).

this is going to sound strange, but can you do a smaller disc for the rear?

are the rears still cable activated?

And its only taken 4hours to provisionally sell them, i'll confirm on this Sunday if they have been sold / collected.


AJC, "Hydraulic or additional mechanical handbrake required (not supplied)." As per Turbo Lag the rear calipers are purely hydraulic.
Both front & rear calipers are designed to run 355-378mm discs, although yes you could run 330's on the rear it would be a shame to undersize them!
