Hi mate some people mount them on the botton drivers side of the front bumper as there is room there.

A guy called dan savage down my way has his mounted where the old
mfi unit used to sit above the gearbox. He runs a cold feed from his
twin headlight conversion on top of it, think that was done by NMS mate.

Check out the issue of Performance Ford which had the feature on his car
a few months ago for pics.

Cheers matt

Yeah DanS had it mounted with a custom carbon airbox though, post about his car in pictures and vids, been bought by Ryan Belfast. It's on the passenger wing

removed the heated intake box and used a cooler from mazda rotary turbo -nice and big
easy enough to fit , get an adaptor between your bolck and oil filter with some banjo fittings with pipes to your cooler. It does make a difference in your overall engine temp

im considering mounting mine on the passenger or driver side behind the bumper air duct on the front panel...it will also have a nice cold air stream if mounted there (not sure if i can yet...just an idea)

also does it matter how far away you put the cooler from the block? IE running the pipes longer than usual?

lengnth of pipe shouldnt make a difference
i originally had mine behind the bumper , it worked well enough
i upped my oil pressure with an extra piece of another spring from another oil pump
