my heaters have never worked on my s2
as its getting colder need them sorted
i believe the heater matrix is fuked, is there a way of testing it and how hard is it to change it, dash out job etc

not dash out, but a ballache. THe way to test is simple - one pipe going to it will be colder if its not working.

You may just find the flap isn't functioning within the heater box, and therefore set to cold permentantly.

Check the pipes as Rick said

I cleaned out the pipes, one of them was blocked, loads of shit come out of there, connected pipes up still no heat. i will check flap and pipes tomorow and update.

i did mine not too long ago, if your heater isnt working then your heater matrix is deffo fucked

THe way to test is simple - one pipe going to it will be colder if its not working.
spot on mate had a look today, the pipe going towards the header tank is warm, the other pipe is cold, so looks like it will need changing

Try running a hose pipe through it before you change it, sometimes works, if not you have lost nothing!
