right i will be running a set of 7.5 x 17 rl7 for the track and im looking at what tyres to use



whats the widest tyres you have had on?


thinking 225-40-17



anyone recomend any tyres also

can you not go for a smaller wheel? 17's are a little big for ultimate handling. On the back, stick to 205/40's. 225's would be fine on the front, even 235's if u get them to clear the arches. The wider the tyre, the less predictable the handling will be, and it can tramline at speed. It's not so much of a problem on the front, but on the rear if the tyre is wide - the rear end will break away without any warning.

i have fully adjustable everything so been told that he will be able to make 17's handle just aswell


i do have some oz mags in the 16" variety (if really needed)


has anyone had 235 on the front then?
