Default FRST restoration - FINISHED & SOLD

Since selling my old fiesta back in august i have recently bought myself a new project to work on through the winter months, its a very good base with a solid shell - engine etc.....

When i first bought it:

pics at the start:

As the car currently stands:

And i purchased these the other day which i'm now in two minds if to fit them or not as i wanted this one to be totally standard looking on the exterior:

Update time:

Change of plans with this car, i decided to scrap the idea of fitting the cosworth rims due to the amount of cutting etc needed to get them to fit whilst lowered and look good at the same time.

New dealer sticker and number plates

I decided to take the exterior back to completely standard form including wheels, original badges, indicators, rear lights etc but after closer inspection in the bodyshop it appeared to need a few extra panels

1x new bonnet
1x new bootlid
1x back panel
1x o/s/f wing
1x o/s/r quarter panel
1x o/s/r arch inner
1x o/s sill
1x n/s sill
1x n/s/r arch inner
1x n/s/r arch outer
1x scuttle panel
1x top of front panel
2x new roof gutter covers
2x window weather strips
6x new rear window caps
1x rear window dealer sticker
1x set of dealership numberplates
1x new frst boot decal
2x new old style ford badges
1x set of front indicators
1x set side repeaters
1x set headlamp covers

Preperation work starting

Front end with ambers back in :Q

Kit painted, restudded and slightly trimmed

Front bumper bar dropped so the gap is 130mm deep just enough for the 2wd cos intercooler, this the spoiler and vents are the last things to be painted.

Well its back and i'm well chuffed, just wait until the nice weathers here and i can fit the new badges, stickers, plates etc.

It now needs the polly bushes fitting and -35mm suspension, strip out the interior and fit new dash, roof lining, steering wheel, gear knob, gauges and a few other bits and bobs.

If i get time before national day i may fit megasquirt V3 with greens

Where did you get the dealer sticker made up at ?

Think you made the right decision leaving the Cossie rims off. It would have taken that standard look away

The brown streaks running from places is wax oil as the thing is pumped full of it.

Put the car up for sale after its MOT on Monday evening, couldn't beleive the amount of calls so quick, got a call on the Tuesday evening sold this morning.

Time to move onto something less stressful, something i don't have to do work to
