I've acquired another downpipe and cat for my Mk1 2.0lt si mondeo

The one thats on there has 2 chambers going from manifold and then 2 pipes going into the cat.
The newer one has just 1 chamber that goes straight to the cat.

The latter one doesnt appear to fit ? Anyone know the differences and why ?
