S1 (standard S1 Ratios & final drive) gearbox fitted with Quaife dif in excellent working order £550.

dont think this is andys,think its toms,sure andy runs an s2 box with quaife diff

 

Keith/Jamie it was a box that I bought from Tom as a spare, has only covered a few hundered miles since it was built(I gave Davie a loan of it whilst he was running his S2 in)

Im running an IB5box with a Quaife for the time being.

An MTX will be finding its way onto the car before lomg Keith.

Coming along well Keith, was down AVA today! Should be on the rollers next week for a base map, then a case of runing in/testing etc.

 

i will buy the box if you can sum how prove 2 me its got the diff in it , cash waitin

 

andy is one of the most soundest honest guys youll ever meet,he's no reason to con people as £550 is pocket money to him,still he's prob got receipts for the work done on the box

 

If the box has recently been reconditioned im interested Andy give me a shout back with some details on the S1 box

 

Cheers for that Jamie.........the box was owned by Tom from AVA, I bought it(as a spare) when he gave up on his S1 project, knowing that he'd had it fully reconditioned.

The box has been used since by a mate whilst he ran his S2 in and while he waited on his (Stage 2+)box being built by CTS...so i know it is as described "A1 condition"

you can tell if the diff is quaife just by looking where the shafts go in
