Default Help needed with new engine asap

Ok just put my engine back in and the sodding thing wont start turns over fine but just wont fire checked the plug leads are on the right way they are fine sounds like its not getting fuel but there is fuel at the metering head coming from the fuel filter and at the individual pipes for the injectors so i am stuck any help would be cool thanks.

take it you have a spark??is it trying to start?have you tried slightly pressing the airflow meter whilst carnking?

Getting a spark will try doing that with the airflow meter tommorow as the batterys flat now If that does'nt work think i'm going to set fire to it

trouble k jet mate its very sesative to pressure drops etc they require around 6 bar to function,if ya get sick of it ill give you Ł100

I had the same problem on my cossie, which turned out to be me putting the phase sensor back in wrong - phase sensor was right, but plug inside the dissy was wrong way round.

This will only be helpful if you (a) have one and (b) you have messed with it

Drove me mad though on mine

RST will have fuel at the metering head, but you'll need to press the flap down and crank it to get fuel put the injectors

Ok just started on the car again and starting to think that the starter motor is goosed had the battery on charge last night so fully charged but the starter is still very very slow to turn the engine over if i take the plugs out and try it it speeds up considerable i am getting spark on every plug and the plugs are wet so must be getting fuel just does'nt seem as though its turning over fast enough to start add to this the fact that if i try to start the car for anything longer than about 5 seconds there is smoke coming from the starter

Have you checked all the earth straps / wires are connected ?
