Default opinions please...

just bought some shiny Bailey tanks (header/breather/swirl pot) for my frst project...

thing is, while they look shiny now, i know i won't keep them up to standard. i'm too lazy!

my plan is to scuff them up a bit and spray them satin black

but it just feels a bit wrong. twice i've got the wire wool out, and twice i've held back!

how bad will they look in a years time (probably 15000 miles as well) with no cleaning???

or should i stop being a big girl and get on with it?

or should i buy the wife something nice once in a while and get her to clean them?
