Default The cosworth Hold...

Anyone out there experienced this? you know, you do loads of mods/cleaning/servicing to your cosworth and something breaks and thats it,i`m selling it. Next morning you get up,well i`ll just sort that out and see how it goes. Next day, this is mint nothing can touch me on the roads, but could do with a new such and such and then back to square one. Or is it just me? Ive been that close to buyin a new scooby or evo but cant find the heart to get rid of me saph. And everyone tells me once you had one, you`ll always go back.. The cosworth hold.

I the opposite though , in the morning i want to sell then as day goes on its the tits again , sold mine 9 months ago and bought another one 2 weeks ago , it reallly is great when its going good , but i just try and not get too down when it goes tits up

End of the day we know what were getting ourselves into with these cars , and the looks we get is enogh to make it all worth while

This is one thing i learned on selling my last one !

I do it all the time, think and work out how much its worth in bits, then when I go out to the garage have a look and think I just cant get rid think I would regret it big time if I sold it.

How many people go back to them, almost everyone

KEEP THE COSSIES

Yes, we're all the same mate. I said I'd never have another Escort Cossie after I sold the first one, but here I am again. Bits breaking and spending money on them is half the 'fun'. And sharing your experiences with other people in the same boat too. It's more of a scene than any other type of car.

I wonder if there is a Vauxhall Vectra owners club? If there is I don't want to be part of it.

Yep, im the same on my 7th now and every now and then i think evo or skyline, but then see one on the road and say to my self the cossie would tear that apart and cant bring myself to change to any thing else.
Although i have had a focus st3 in orange for a few months and its good in every way but it aint no cossie
Im after another as i just sold mine but dont know what to go for, i change my mind daily, between 3dr or escoss. mmmmmmm??
Had an escoss and didnt like it but drove my mates recently (small turbo) and quite liked it but a 3dr in moonstone with white comps is a stunning looking car!!!

cheers steve

Cozzfather, I'm not knocking them, my mate has got one and they're good cars, but like most cars now they don't have the soul of the RS.

you summed it up very well there trev....i always think of getting another car. but i love going to the meets, using passionford and especially attending shows like ford fair and central day

my car may not be the best, fastest or best looking car on the road, and it has a certain chav factor, but its the things like the looks you get from other ford drivers (fiesta's escorts etc) that make it worth it

and also. there are very few other cars which create the grin factor of a stage 3 cos, for scaring the shit out of pasengers and making panties moist

Just gonna post that.

I said/say that everytime any of the (two ) RS's I've had/own have fooked up. But then I think: if I sell it now I'll get cock all as this is broken. If I fix it & everything is ok, why should I sell it and someone else get the benefit of my money I've just spent...

Part of the *cough* enjoyment...
