1.6 TURBO
STAGE 3 TURBO
BAILEYS DUMP VALVE
TWIN INTERCOOLERS
SUPER-CHIPPED BY POWER ENGINEERING
FLAME EXHAUST CONTROLLED BY A SWITCH

thought he would list more of the spec

GUZZLER might know this car as he worked at Powers

But as said before, why claim it does 0-60 in 4.7 seconds?? I bet it won't do it in 6.7 seconds, let alone 5.7 or even 4.7.

It's a nice clean car, but I wouldn't be money that it's 227bhp and certainly isn't capable of 270bhp with a boost increase,

seeing as a cvh can reliably run 150+ for 150k i'd say if it had been well looked after it won't need a rebuild. it depends how you use the car at the end of the day.

nice looking car, doubt its capable of what he has put down though.

seems a straight car

wouldnt buy it blind though. for 2.5-3k you'd wanna real good luck around it. you cant tell anythign from photos, and what may look good in a picture may be a real dog in the flesh.

check all the usual places for rust

Ok i have just seen this and its my baby, thats my old RS Turbo that James bought.

Mr C you know that made 220 bhp all day long as you saw it with your own eyes on SCA rollers that day, so its well worth saying it could make 227 bhp with a little tweak (needs a better held boost maybe electronic controller).

It made 210bhp last time on the rollers but only holding 16psi not the 18psi it was ment to

Andycoss : PM me if you want to buy this car, as i owned it for 7 years and know it extensively inside and out and did all the modifications from standard

I would love to own that car again (money permitting), prob the best RS i have owned and always punched above its weight

FPMSL you coooont it wasnt a 1.9, but it went amazingly well for a std engine 1.6 CVH.

if i could have kept it for a weekend car it would have been great but as an every day car it was a nightmare.no PAS and it bottom'd out on every speed bump.so i sold it and got another zetec s.

Fair enough James, the steering was quite heavy with that quick rack but it improved the turn in and direction change over the std rack so it stayed lol. Yeah its not ideal over alot of speed bumps but did clear most normal ones round my way.

Would you argee it went well and that engine always pulled very hard for a std 1.6 cvh ?

Yeah and it went well on track too the brakes were the best bit on track they always 100% braking force and never faded and without the ABS they had a great feel to them Also that diff and gearbox worked well, out of the corners you could feel the diff pulling the front of the car tight into the apex.

So what colour ZS did you buy then? and any mods to it ?
