Default Sapphire stage 1 chip

I've just received my superchips stage 1 chip but I have some questions

What exactly does a stage 1 chip do? Is it a remap for fuel, boost and ignition timing or does it simply raise the boost limit?

To install it what do I need in other parts? Do I need a new actuator? Do you adjust the fuel reg? Or simply plug it in?

Thanks

Morning Stu.

That's what I thought but what do you know about the chip itself?

I'll source an actuator and get a mate to help set it up and check for det

Thanks

Paul did you buy chip new,if so wasnt there any fitting instructions with it,if not i would say 17 psi of boost would be safe

Default chip

SET YOUR BOOST TO 15 PSI MAX AS YOU ONLY HAVE A STANDARD MAP SENSOR [ THAT WILL BE THE LIMIT OF THE STANDARD SENSOR 14.7]
PLUG IN NEW CHIP WITH CUT OUT ON CHIP MATCHING CUT OUT ON BOARD.
SHORTEN ACTUATOR ROD ONE FULL TURN AND TEST IF STILL NOT ENOUGH BOOST SHORTEN IT HALF TURN AT A TIME TILL PEAKS AT 15 PSI.CHEERS MARK
