As i'll be turbo'ing the 2.0 DOHC and running a 5th injector, and basically doing it pikey style i was wondering if this would work.
Using a pressure switch to activate the 5th injector at around 5psi (for talking sake... that's ok but here's what i want to do....
run a slightly larger injector so it runs a little too rich and using one of thos old school AFC controllers (the cheap ones with 4 or 5 dials for each rev range?) to lean the normal injectors out a bit...
that sounds ok in theory but once i let off the throttle after boosting it's still going to be in the "boost" rev range i.e. 3k - 6k or whatever so it's going to run too lean right? so .....
the AFC's just modify the air flow going to the ecu right? so can i just run a relay off the pressure switch to switch the air flow sensor between the ECU and the AFC.
So in theory under boost the 5th injector will activate and the modified air flow reading from the AFC will feed the ECU and when coming down the revs the 5th injector will deactivate and the air flow reading from the air flow sensor will the feed the ECU.
i'm thinking it should work ok, just looking for opinions if you understand what i mean.
