Default Recently built Maram Shafted T34/ 0.63. ..Proper COSSIE ITEM

Advertising for a friend…….

Genuine Garrett T34 Turbocharger with a .63 exhaust housing.

This turbo was rebuilt only 3000 miles ago by Universal Turbos with a Maram 247 Shaft to run heavy ALS also added was a brand new .63 exhaust housing and a 360° Thrust Bearing. A new Garrett -34 Actuator fitted at the same time, which is included with the turbo.

This combination of turbo and actuator is very good for high boost and power capabilities. A Turbo of this spec fitted to a Cosworth for example could see up to around 400bhp and you can use Anti- Lag all day long without fear of melting the turbo.

For those who aren’t aware, new maram shafts are VERY expensive, circa £1200 just for the shaft, let alone the rest of the turbo.

In the time this turbo has been fitted to a car since rebuild. It has only been run at 1.8 bar of boost and -0.3 boost at idle when the mild ALS has been on and the highest EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature) ever seen was only 860°c, even that was on over- run and not on boost. The pictures shown are when the turbo was new, so you can see everything was new and clean, but obviously the turbo has done 3000 miles now.

It will fit an RS Turbo with a small bit of fabrication needed for a custom made exhaust down pipe but it will bolt straight on to the exhaust manifold with no problems.
