hi everyone. i have got a escort gti and while i like the green when the dials are lit up i would prefer to have them lit up in plasma blue. i have been told that i can change the green bulb in the dash to a blue bulb. just wondering if anyone has done this.

 

You can do that or just use halfords bulb paint. Dip the bulb in and there you go. Iv seen it done on a ford cougar and they looked quite good. Just dont dip them too much as they appear a bit dull

 

as far as i know the bulbs are clear. only problem is that where the lights shine through onto the dials thers a green plastic strip on theplastic cover. If u could take this off then blue bulbs will work but i cheated. i took off the front cover and fitted a small blue neon inside but in front of the green piece. then took out old bulbs. pretty bright and looks great.

 

i relaced my bulbs with blue l.e.d's works well
