bought these wheels, they are ford fitment and have track tyres on, how do i tell what the offset is, and what should it be for a safcoz, one is slightly different style but the guy says they are the same its just the style that is slightly different,want to use them for croft but need to know if i need spacers etc
Check all the offsets on ALL the wheels before parting with cash.
Take them to a tyre fitter and get them balanced.
They 'll go on if they are 4x108 et 35 but stick out a little bit further than the normal sierra ones.
Check the centre bore is 63.4mm other wise they could be peugeot ones

all the wheels have 6j x 15 et 15 on them , so are they ok and whats this 4 x 108 et 35 your on about, the one thats different is a slightly dished wheel wheres the others are flat but the guy says they are the same offset and will be ok, how do i check the offsett if the numbers i have found are not the ones i need???
4= number of holes
108= distance between the holes in mm i.e. 108mm apart from centre of hole to centre of hole opposite on 4 stud
63.4== the centre bore of the wheel on the mounting face.
ET is the offset which is the distance from the vertical centre lineof the wheel to the surface of the wheel mounting face measured in mm
The smaller the offset the further apart the wheels ie et15 will stick out away from car and et 35 will be 20mm inwards- ideally where a sierra should be.
You can obviously fit the et 15 on but it will widen the track and may upset the handling and where tyres prematurely
Also the important is to measure the centre bore . If it is bigger than 63.4mm then the wheel will 'float' and not locate properly. If it is to small the wheel will not sit flush to the hub

Either way as Mike said (he likes the word shafted)
Try them anyway.
