How do you shorten the actuator rod, as i want up the boost. Cheers.

 

11mm lock nut,undo this,pull the actuator rod of the wastegate and turn it anti clockwise, if you want 1bar turn it so only have half a circle and have to pull it back on the wastegate,dont forget to get your fueling checked on a rolling road

 

can you do this with a standard actuator, or is it better to get a -31?

 

I would'nt fuck about with it yourself mate you might get away with it but if it goes wrong it's rebuild time if you want to run more boost take it to a pro and get it set up properly

 

he doesnt want to run your boost, he wants to run his own
