Default Anyone got a Pic of a 2WD Bottom Water Hose ???

I am after a shot of a complete hose showing the header tank return point in detail if possible please? Also a shot showing the whole hose so I can get some idea as to dimensions and angles?

Stu, just a shot of the hose will be fine mate. Dont go dragging your car out just for that fella.

By the way Oz was great, but I went there just for Hols. I lived in New Zealand. Also top place, but not for my lass sadly...DOH!

the bottom hose is a 3 part jobber.

the blue one goes between water pump and radiator, and has a take off to the metal pipe that runs across the bottom of the radiator and joins to the rubber hose (3rd one down) to connect to the header tank.

i have sold these parts, so can't make any measurements or anything

hope that helps.

Thanks for that Nick. Its the one with the offtake I am looking for.

Thanks to DaBoy for the link, its actually the 4/C I am looking for. I should be able to work dimensions from there and get my mate Mr Roose to knock me a custom up!

Stu, I will have a snap if you do drag the car out mate? I could do with seeing how the offtake from the bottom hose clears the alternator belts? I am guessing they must run round the back or right through the middle?

Has anyone got a shot or description of what route the small take off line takes on the bottom rad hose?

it goes to the metal pipe that is fixed to the bottom of the rad as i said above. don't know if that's what you mean? all of that is well in front of the belts

Nick, I mean the actual elbow when it leaves the bottom hose. What orientation does it initally take? Does it go round the back of the belts or pass through the middle of them?

My car looks tight for space and I have a different rad fitted with it being in a Mk2 Escort.

Will see if I can find a pic.
