as some of you might be aware i finally got the guts to have a cracked tooth removed from my mouth due to it causing mental and utter pain on thursday


anyway they took it out as said its gonna be sore blah blah, so i accepted it and off i went

anyway its been real sore ever since and last night i had no sleep as it hurt more than the dam tooth did

i call the dentist today and explain,,, say i know you said its gonna be sore ect but honestly ive had no sleep due to it,,,,, ladie MUMBLES on the phone and says i better come in asap if i think theres a concern,,,,, now i told her im taking REAL strong pain killers that are perscripton only for severe nerve pains ect and im still feeling pain !!!


anyway i take the emergency appointment and visit dentist at 12 today


i visit there,,,,, i open my mouth and the tossers FIRST WORD WAS " OH MY GOD",,,,, he then mubbles about i shiould have came earlier as thats really really infected and looks real painfull and bad,,, im suprised im dealing with the pain as its all pussy and giving off a strong odour in my gob



so he then perscribes me with,,,,,, 2 fucking sets of antibiotics,,, 1 of em i cant drive when taking em,,,, the other i cant fucking drink when taking em,,,, as that one will make me ill rather than just get me pissed quick

ive also got ibuprofen and paracetemol to calm the pain ect


SO as ive now proved YET AGAIN,,,, dentists do nothing but cause fucking pain


now tbh if i never had the pain killers for nerve pain i would have prob gone hospital ect but you dont expect a 180 quid bill from the dentist to end up woth a fuckjng infection

anyway the last day of this course of antibiotics is friday so ill JUST make saturday,,,, otherwise i would have missed the pissup due to the dam dentist

 

at least the pain will go in a day or two.

then they can sort your gob out.

no thats for 1 emergency appointment,,, 2 forgotten appointments and 2 appointments to check the tooth AND the extraction


oh and they WAS gonna get me to go to a fucking hospital to have the tooth taken out,,,,, which btw is foc but a 6 week wait,,,, so i MADE them take it out there and then as i would be fucked paying all that to go NHS in the end anyway

 

i havnt been for 3 years .2 teeth have cracked badly .1 has just fallen out except the bottom of it and im ok.last time my bill was 350 .to much if you dont earn enough.i just earn just over the bracket but fook it .i go when im in pain when they give me the bill i run

 

As a kid some of the worst experiences I had was visiting the dentist, had a bad milk tooth removed when I was about five or six and it crumbled whilst it was being yanked out. as I got older I had too many teeth and had to have a couple removed, requested to have it done under general anesetic and this bitch dentist woman at the hospital talked me out of it and I agreed to have it done with a local anesetic which consisted of about three of four injections in the gob which were fuckin painful followed by loads of yanking and my screaming, cos of that only up until recently have i agreed to have injections in the gob, before I would decline them and have any work done fillings etc without them, which isn't very nice. I still find them fuckin unpleasent though.

I have two check ups a year and look after my teeth,flossing, cleaning etc and that helps avoid painfull and dreaded trips to the dentists

when i was 10....yes 10....i had 5 back teeth out with roots....
woke up from anesthetic half way through last one....

crying my eyes out, with blood literally PISSING out of my tiny 10 year old mouth.
On journey home, went through 3 full toilet rolls to mop up blood...
As soon as i got home i passed out and parents rushed me to hospital.

Was in hospital for 3 days and cant remember being in hospital at all....

then, 1 year later, at new dentist, said there was no need to have them out, as my mouth would grow to make room

thats why i aint been to dentist since, and my teeth are mint.

I had a similar experience, 6 teeth out when I was 10, (cos I had a small gob allegedly) was still bleeding 3 days later. Went to a new dentist and had to get stitched up, in the surgical sence. Always go rigid in the dentists chair to this day

 

Go to the dentist every 6 months and put up with a little pain once in a while

I went through a phase of not going for 7-8 years, just brushed teeth once a day. Went and needed 7 fillings and 3 exctractions. Bloody stupid.

I wouldn't expect anything more from this topic - I mean the dentist gives u the right drugs to sort out the infection and u complain. lol - im at a loss

I'm annoyed with dentists anyway. I don't know about the rest of the country, but round here they won't take on any national health patients, but if you want to go private they all have spaces.

i used to LOVE going to the dentist when i was a child.

IMHO there's absolutely NO reason for bad teeth

i had 4 teeth out for purposes of having a brace fitted, no pain apart from the brace (which is to be expected) ad my teeth are now mint. never had a filling or owt, just by brusing once a day before i go to sleep.

 

why because you got a free sticker,saying...i didn't cry...well not much anyway

how do you know that the four teeth you had out,cudda been nasty as fook or did he give you a CSI like report while he was removing you're "so called" healthy teeth?

a dentist will not remove "A" healthy tooth,nevermind 4!
theres no reason for mass "toothicide" for the purpose of a brace.(it defeats the object IMO)

When I was 9, I had a seriously overcrowded mouth, and had 13 teeth removed - 9 in one operation, and four in another.

Was also gassed out, instead of needle - although that was one of the trippiest experiences I've ever had!

i never had a brace people,,,, sorry but my teeth issues are causd from years of charlie grinding and taking pills for dance lessons

my issue was the nightmare of having the tooth out to end up in more fucking pain,,,, sorry but id rather have not lose the tooth tbh


the infection is almost clear so looks like i wont need to buy pills and coke for my weekend as ill be drinking again now


ive had anther tooth out a few years ago on the other side but same tooth caused by the same thing but i had a severe abcess that i had for YEARS and just took pain killers to dull the pain and then it stopped after a few days


then it got to a point that my mates perscription for hodgekins was needed to kill the pain ( morphine based too ) so i went dentist to be taken to hospital due to the infection rotting my jaw bone ( yes people bad teeth can also fuck your general bones aswell as cause blood issues,,, remember that !!!)

just i had a bad experience there that id rather not go into but it involved having a dentist use plyers and her KNEE on my chest to snap the tooth adn then drill out and excavate the rest of it,,,,, never again i tell thee





oh and btw my doctor is the tits though,,,,, gave me 8 months off work with back pains before when i hated my last job
