I have just brought a std Rs turbo the only thing it has on it is a filter.

What sort of bhp can i get out of it with out blowing it up i wanna use for an every day car so i was thinking 180 - 190 bhp?

It's about 130bhp stage 1 chip is about 165bhp s/s ehaust would be good new cam piper t2 one is a good move

 

Whats the 195 chip all about?

Could go that way you will need 195 chip 701's injectors and uprated fuel pump uprated actuator and hope the turbo can take the extra boost

 

Gotta be worth a laugh what about the intercooler?

Will that need to be changed @ that power?

Would be be better off with one there's often a fm/inteercooler on ft.com

 

195 it, chip beiges, -31 and cossie fuel pump, 195bhp

obviosuly get it set upand the boost ingition set accordingly

i run mine every day on a 165 chip, filter, exhaust and it's fine not blown up yet. if you do go for the 195 chip route i have a set of beige injectors forsale

 

You can get power out of these without chipping, my last fiesta was proven 160bhp with stage 1 T3, jamsport head, kent 36, mongoose, cossie filter, then i added a pro-alloy front mount cooler adding at least 10bhp and this spec extremely safe.

 

Agree, but deffo not the 285T2 it's a shockingly poor profile. It sacrifices everything low down for a small increase in peak power. Kent CVH 35 or Newman mate.
